Shakshuka – The Hebrew and North African words meaning “all mixed up” is a popular egg dish in Israel.
Passover is just around the corner and I was looking for a unique recipe that I could easily cook without a lot fuss. Not being much of a cook the easy part was a must!
Enter the popular Israeli egg dish, shakshuka. One good thing about preparing this delicious dish is you probably have all of the fixings in your pantry. It is also very versatile, you can add different ingredients, like onions, avocado or Zhug, an herb hot sauce, to satisfy a more spice loving palate.
