Our intrepid #MilaSays columnist, Mila Vincent, 4, loved Pete the Cat, the national tour of the Theatreworks USA show at the Eisemann Center Nov. 23, and so did her grandmother, Johannah Luza. Here’s their take:
Mila: My favorite part of Pete the Cat was when Olive Biddle wanted to marry Pete but she’s allergic to cats! Every time she got close to Pete she sneezed! But she kept chasing him and just kept sneezing just like my grandma does when she’s around cats! Pete likes to play the guitar and his roommates Jimmy and Olive like to sing a lot.
Johannah Luza: Pete the Cat is a cute play with lots of energy and music. Kids will enjoy the VW bus Pete and his friend Jimmy ride around in so Jimmy can get ideas for his art class. The play is just long enough to keep the attention of even the youngest in the audience.
Eisemann Extras:
Mila: A guitar played and a singer led us in lots of fun songs that I knew and even the parents and grandparents joined in! Kids were dancing everywhere!
