Everything old is new again as the drive-In movie theater, a great American tradition, experiences a new burst of popularity. The newest venue is the Drive-In at the Central in Dallas, ensuring guests have a safe “away from home” experience from the security of their vehicles.
Movies are projected onto a 52-foot screen with the Dallas skyline as a backdrop. Use your car’s FM transmitter to listen in. Feel free to bring snacks, but you can always purchase food and drinks from the contactless concessions stand, or order from the yummy local food trucks on-site. There are two screenings per night, seven nights a week, and all ages are welcome.
Please note: Masks, face coverings, and social distancing are required anytime you step outside your car, whether using the restroom or buying snacks.
So step back in time — with a modern twist — and enjoy the experience.
