Rugg, Director of The Center for Vital Longevity, to speak on, “Why Do Our Memories Get Worse As We Age?”

GrapeFest: A Texas Wine Experience

Come out to the 35th Annual GrapeFest! This year the theme is “Texas Wine. Come and Taste It!” The four-day festival features wines from Texas and guest wineries from California’s Napa Valley and South Australia’s Barossa Valley. Now she and your kids/grandkids can see clowns Slappy and Monday in their all-new show, presented by Dallas Children’s Theater. Married clowns Tiffany ‘Slappy’ Riley and Dick Monday lead a cast of cutups showing off their juggling, tap dancing, and slapstick skills. Recommended for ages five and older.

The fabulous Turtle Creek Chorale will perform a concert focused on popular songs from Broadway. As we all look forward to reopening the Broadway stages in New York this fall, it is the perfect time to present Broadway’s Back, Baby! The concert will highlight some of the best songs from Broadway’s rich musical history.

Ballet 5:8 Performs Reckless

Revel in the Chicago-based ballet company Ballet 5:8’s truthful storytelling and breathtaking artistry. Julianna Rubio Slager’s new ballet, Reckless, topples the stereotypes surrounding sex work. Based on the ancient story of Hosea and Gomer, Slager allows Gomer’s voice to narrate the tragic and misunderstood realities of human trafficking.
