Mila Says: Greenies, Meanies, and Disney Queenies — Mila Finds Lots to Love in Spring Kids’ Shows

A Frog, a Toad, and an Ogre walk into the spring theater season, followed by a Lion, a Witch, and some Disney heroes and villains.

Best friends Frog and Toad have adventures through the seasons in this popular Broadway musical, performed by the youth students at Firehouse Theatre and directed and choreographed by actress, producer, author, and educator Ashley Kate Adams.

An ogre named Shrek finds himself stuck with an unlikely and unwelcome task of saving a princess in a fairy tale mission that leads to an unexpected, funny, and touching journey. Casa Manana presents the Tony Award-winning musical based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation films.

Adapted by Joseph Robinette from the book by C.S. Lewis

Four children tumble through a closet door in England to discover Narnia, a magical land with talking animals, a great lion, and a dangerous White Witch who is trying to make sure there is always winter but never Christmas. Artie Olaisen directs the adaptation of this beloved classic about finding the courage to do good in dangerous times.

Ben, the teenage son of Belle and King Adam (formerly the Beast from Beauty and the Beast) invites the children of Disney villains Maleficent, Cruella De Vil, and Jafar to attend school with him to encourage them to choose good. But will it? Casa Manana presents this new musical based on the Disney Channel Original Movie, Descendants.
