Ask the Organizer

Are you easily DISTRACTED and DISORGANIZED where CHAOS and CONFUSION rule your life…? Do you feel like you’re living in a Traditionally Organized World when you’re not…? You’ve come to the right place for answers!

Dear Organizer Coach,

Seasonal change is soon approaching, and my home has limited closet storage. How can I store seasonal clothing on-site that is accessible, aesthetically pleasing, and functional?

Thanks, “Seasonal Slacker”

Dear “Seasonal Slacker”,

Yes, Fall is in the air, and that conjures up visions of sweaters, boots and layered clothing!

Purge, purge, and purge, again, before creating storage systems.

Go vertical: use hooks on the insides of closet doors to hang an over-the-door shoe organizer for gloves, scarves, wool socks, and heavier undergarments Underbed Storage: use space bags, or attach casters to wooden crates or unused dresser drawers, for some underbed solutions.

Enjoy the falling leaves, football season, and drinking apple cider!
