ELEPHANTS SPRINGS, FORT WORTH ZOO

The Fort Worth Zoo’s newest permanent habitat includes green spaces and watering holes for the Asian elephant herd, including a three-generational family and greater one-horned rhino to roam.  Watch them splash around in the multiple pools and walk the yards. These improvements will allow the herd many enrichment opportunities. The Fort Worth Zoo intends to remain at the forefront of elephant conservation and management. Elephant Springs will enable the Zoo to further this leadership role and guarantee the survival of these glorious creatures for generations to come.
