Keep Your New Year’s Resolutions with the Dallas College Emeritus Program

By The Emeritus Program Team.

When the clock struck midnight on January 1, what was your New Year’s Resolution for 2023?

Was it to increase your fitness? To learn how to create ceramic pottery or sculptures? To be able to communicate better with your grandchildren by texting?

Whatever your resolution, the Dallas College Emeritus Program has a class for it!

The Program has a wide range of courses designed for lifelong learners in the Dallas area 55 years of age and older. It’s also one of the most extensive emeritus programs in the state.

Dallas College also has seven campuses conveniently located across the county, making it easy for you to access learning opportunities.

In addition to its robust course offerings, the Emeritus Program also offers opportunities for its students to stay socially connected through volunteer opportunities, lecture series, day trips, and more.

Course offerings for 2023 include, but are certainly not limited to:

Physical education courses such as yoga, weight training, tai chi, and fitness mat work.

Technology courses about digital security and passwords, mastering iPhones and Android phones, basic computer/software skills, and creating online invitations.

Additional continuing education courses are available in the arts, including pottery, painting, music, language, and so much more.

Visit www.DallasCollege.edu/Emeritus, write to Emeritus@DallasCollege.edu, or call 972-238-6972 for more information on available classes and to register.

Get started on those resolutions and goals today with Dallas College!
