She named the pup Zelda.

Zelda became a loyal companion — and she soon sparked an idea for Gardner. READ MORE

Cirque du Soleil: CORTEO

Join the jubilation, acrobatics, and humanity of *Corteo when Cirque du Soleil comes to Comerica Center in Frisco.

The clown Mauro has passed away, but his spirit is still with us. Instead of mourning, the funeral cortege celebrates the here and hereafter with laughter and exuberance. Rich, extravagant memories play with the senses. Revel in visions of joyous tumblers and players that fascinate the eyes. Regret and melancholy retreat in the face of a cavalcade of lively recollections of a life gloriously lived. A festive parade will entertain all who watch and is the perfect accolade for an artist whose life was dedicated to revelry and making merry.

*Corteo is a 100-minute show with a 25-minute intermission. Like most of Cirque du Soleil’s shows, Corteo will entertain the whole family. There are loud noises and darkness during the show that may frighten some children.

Where: Comerica Center | 2601 Avenue of the Stars, Frisco

When:  Weds., May 17 – Fri. May 19, 7:30 pm | Sat., May 20, 3:30 pm & 7:30pm | Sun., May 21, 1 pm & 5 pm
